The SKA Open Day 2015 will be on Sunday, 14th June, running from noon until 5pm. The course is suitable for beginners through to black belts. Students will be taught in small groups according to grade. This is your chance to train with the Association's senior instructors. Don't miss this course, it promises to be a fantastic day!
|SESSION 1:||12 noon - 1.30pm||KATA|
The object of this session is for students to learn the next kata in their syllabus. The emphasis will be on learning the moves and applications of katas.
|2pm - 3.30pm||BREAK|
|SESSION 2:||2pm - 3.30pm||KUMITE|
Students will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of kumite and learn new techniques taught in small groups according to grade.
|SESSION 3:||3.45pm - 5pm||PRESENTATIONS AND DEMONSTRATIONS|
Presentation of Dan grade certificates, followed by demonstrations, to include Junior team kata, Adult team kata, advanced kumite, individual kata, multiple self defence, knife self defend, ladies' self defence, kata with applications, demonstrations of martial arts weapons.
